Neighbourhood Action Day

Officers from POPLAR Safer Neighbourhood Team joined Tower Hamlets Enforcement Officers and council partners for a ‘Neighbourhood Action Day’ at the Will Crooks Estate on 2nd July 2026.

The joint operation focused on addressing local concerns, improving community safety, and engaging with residents. High-visibility patrols were carried out across the estate, with officers and partner agencies speaking to residents, identifying environmental issues, and tackling anti-social behaviour.

The day provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships with the local community, offer crime prevention advice, and work together to identify long-term solutions to issues affecting the estate.

Neighbourhood Action Days demonstrate the continued commitment of the Metropolitan Police, Tower Hamlets Council, and partner agencies to keeping local neighbourhoods safe, listening to residents’ concerns, and taking positive action to improve the quality of life for everyone in the community.
